The Aarhus based startup Xsided is rethinking advertisement at sport and cultural events, bringing the world of sponsorship up to date. Using the audiences’ smartphones, Xsided introduce a brand-new media at the venues, with the simple use of the big screen show and the Xsided App. This creates captivating fan experiences and efficient sponsor activation in one simple and easy to use solution.
Through hard work and a lot of networking, Xsided managed to get into Hempel Sailing World Championships Aarhus 2018, where their entertainment engaged the fans on the harbor. Activating the brands Hempel, Geberit and Blue Water Shipping were a success, and despite tricky weather the games created a great atmosphere for both fans and sailors “It was exciting to see our product contribute to the overall experience of a big international event, and we will continue our journey to innovate the world of sponsorships”.
Prior, Xsided has delivered fan engagement and sponsor activation at more than 200 events within handball, football, ice hockey and e-sport. During the European Tour golf tournament Made in Denmark in August, Xsided will launch their newest game Fan Bingo which takes sponsor activation to an even higher level.
